Militiamen from Newcastle proved to be the best shots at a competition at the Fort Mackenzie range in Sheridan yesterday. The competition was for selection of 10 men from Wyoming National Guard companies A and D to compete with teams from other companies in the state next month. Winners of the state shoot will compete in a national event in October.
Visitors in Sheridan today include George L. Taylor of Arvada, Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis Richards of Buffalo, Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Mills of Ranchester and L.E. Campbell of Story, who is transacting business here.
The wading pool in Pioneer Park is being concreted so the pool will hold water. It will be several days before water can be released into the pool.
