Mrs. John A. Cox has filed a lawsuit in the district court asking $5,000 in damages from the town of Dayton. Mrs. Cox claims injuries received from a fall last June, which she alleges was due to a defective sidewalk.
Dressed turkeys are on sale for 22 cents a pound at Sheridan’s Central Market. Also on sale, leg of spring lamb is 20 cents a pound, mutton stew 8 cents a pound, veal roast 18 cents a pound, pork chops 17 cents a pound.
Miss Nita Garwood returned to her home at Ulm this afternoon. She underwent an operation for appendicitis at the state hospital in Sheridan several days ago.
George Rudston is in Sheridan today from the Horseshoe ranch at Dayton.
