Mrs. V.W. Johnson returned to her home in Clearmont after a few days spent shopping here in Sheridan.

J.R. McClintock, who is agent for Monarch coal, is giving away a free ticket with each purchase of one ton of coal. Ticket holders will be entered in a drawing on May 1 next year, and the winner will receive the latest model of the Majestic Range.

The Sheridan Elks Lodge will hold initiation ceremonies tonight.

John Wier of Story is transacting business in Sheridan today.
