The Buffalo City Council has voted to give a Letter of Support for the Johnson County Rural Health Care District for an emergency services building.
During their Tuesday meeting, the council discussed what the letter of support is for.
According to City Hall, the grant application is for a proposed new ambulance barn.
The rural health care district has been looking into the possibility of buying land and constructing an emergency services building, but has met with some push-back from some community members who have said it is unnecessary and fiscally irresponsible to spend that amount of money when budgets are tight.
