J.J. Early, superintendent of city schools, has arranged with the chief naturalization examiner of this district to open a citizenship school in Sheridan. The goal is to provide a course in civics and other useful information to all foreigners seeking naturalization.

When little Jack Guage went out to play this morning, he decided upon a journey of exploration that took him nearly three-quarters of a mile from home. The two-and-a-half-year-old was taken in charge by a man who turned him over to Deputy Sheriff James Worrell, who invested a nickle in stick candy and took him to the sheriff’s office.
