U.S. Senator John Barrasso (WY-R) spoke on the Senate floor Wednesday about supporting legislation that would sanction Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline. Barrasso said the Nord Stream 2 pipeline from Russia to Germany will be an enormous transfer of wealth from our allies to our enemy and the legislation to support sanctions on the pipeline is our chance to undo a great mistake.

Barrasso urged his colleagues to support the legislation known as the Protecting Europe’s Energy Security Implementation Act. The Senate is expected to vote on the matter this week.
