Mr. M. Steele, of 337 Coffeen Avenue, had his new Mitchell car stolen early this morning. The door of the garage was forced open and the car driven away some time between 1:30 and 7 a.m.
A proposition from J.W. Kirkpatrick to sell the city lot 4, block 32, Neilson Heights addition was received and read at this morning’s meeting of the Sheridan city council. The council has taken the matter under advisement.
The Meyer Garage has an auto for hire. Rates are 15 cents per mile for a round trip of 10 or more miles, one or two persons, 25 cents a mile one way or for three or four persons round trip or one way.
