A Look Back in Time: Sept. 14, 1917

The Elks show, “A Night in a Cabaret,” at the Orpheum last night attracted a large crowd and was enthusiastically received.

The local Red Cross chapter will give a dance at the Elks Hall tonight for the benefit of the Red Cross work. Admission will be $1 for each person. Sherrard’s orchestra will provide the music.

All new fall and winter shoes are on display at the Garrison Keene Shoe Co. Women’s shoes start at $7.50, men’s at $4.

J.W. Cooper came in to Sheridan from his ranch at Beaver Creek to get machinery.

Mrs. Roy Peters of Dietz motored to Sheridan Thursday morning.
