Teachers and pupils of the High School held a special celebration at 2 o’clock this afternoon in commemoration of the 130th anniversary of the adoption of the constitution. Pupils began by singing “America,” then Miss Dougherty performed most pleasingly on the cornet.
A fire in Ranchester yesterday morning destroyed some of the principal buildings in the town. The fire originated in a barn adjacent to the ice house and was discovered about 1:30 in the morning. The ice house was in flames before the fire brigade arrived.
