The Local Board has received word that another quota of the National Army will go forward from Sheridan on Oct. 3. Forty percent is called for this time, which means 19 boys will leave from here.
Harry B. Winterling of Sheridan and Miss Evelyn Hall of Kalamazoo, Mich., were married at 9 o’clock Tuesday night in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
Former Sheridan resident William Ferdon has given $280 to the local “Our Boys in France Tobacco Fund,” which is the largest donation received to date. The fund now totals $491.
