Sen. John B. Kendrick, who’s one of the speakers at tonight’s Democratic banquet, said in an interview today that the outstanding fact about Washington is that it is too busy to do anything but push the war. He said efficiency, speed, thoroughness and impartiality are everywhere to be seen.
Mrs. Ed Coleman of Clearmont, who came to the State Hospital in Sheridan Sunday for appendicitis, is getting along fine. The operation was performed Monday evening.
O.L. Maybury has leased the Meyers Garage and will arrange to do repair work and handle everything useful to aumobile owners. Plenty of room is left for more cars to be stored for the winter.
