The Longmire Foundation has made donations to two separate entities on behalf of the supporters of the Longmire Days 2021 event. In a release from the Longmire Foundation, it was announced that donations were made to the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center (NIWRC) and Johnson County Search and Rescue.The NIWRC received $30,000 from the foundation.

Johnson County’s school board discussed proposed amendments to the Fiscal Year 2022 adopted budget during their recent meeting. The amendments adopted new spending within the Special Revenue Fund of roughly $250,000 for instruction; about $145,000 for instructional support; and just over $43,000 in general support; for a total amendment of about $438,500.
