Work has started on reconstruction of the Sheridan Manufacturing company mill destroyed by fire recently.
N.A. Pearson has been given the contract for the job, and the building will be pushed to completion as rapidly as possible. Mill Manager L.F. Traphagen said today the work will be finished in ample time to handle the fall wheat crop.
The bridge across Big Goose on West Alger avenue is being replanked.
The Grand Theater will give half of the receipts from Saturday’s matinee and evening to the Linden Avenue Parent Teachers association. The purpose is to establish a circulating library. “Uncle Sam’s Money Box” and views of Washington will be shown in moving pictures.
