Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on June 29, 1915.
Street cars will be running to the Sheridan sugar beet factory within the next two weeks, unless something unforeseen occurs. The bridge across Little Goose Creek has been completed, and the street car track is virtually completed.
Owing to an unusual amount of water being used Sunday, together with a stoppage at the intake, water in the city reservoirs became very low. If a fire had occurred yesterday, the condition would have been critical. Water pressure is about normal today, and the reservoirs are expected to reach their usual level by Thursday.
Among visitors in Sheridan today are Miss Iola Short and Mrs. C.O. Long, both of Ranchester.
