A committee representing the Sheridan Commercial club this morning asked county commissioners to appropriate $2,000 next year for use by the club for advertising purposes. The committee pointed out that the club spent $6,000 this year in getting the sugar factory located in Sheridan, as well as other expenditures that benefit the county as a whole.

Sheridan County Electric company has the Hotpoint Utility Set, a gift that women will appreciate this Christmas. The set includes a three-pound iron with hole for heating curling tongs in the rear, a stand for inverting the iron, a dish with handle for the stand, cover and attachment plug, all holiday-priced at $4.

The Golden Rule store has sharply reduced prices this week. Suits formerly $22 are now $14.75, and coats valued at $26 are now $17.85.
