School opened today after the holiday vacation. The teachers were all present.
A new administration is now in charge of the city of Sheridan affairs. J.A. Church assumed the duties of mayor at 2:30 this afternoon, and W.G. Birkhauser and F.C. Poll took up their duties as city commissioners. The old council completed its work at that hour, escorted the mayor and new city commissioners to their seats, and retired. The mayor and new council then appointed new city employees.
The Antlers rooming house in Sheridan is for sale. This is the best business place in Sheridan, with nine rooms, steam-heated. Asking price is $450. Owner will accept part cash and the balance in easy payments.
