Sheridan’s city commission appointed more new employees at their meeting this morning, including H.A. Loucks as park superintendent, C.H. Grinnell street foreman, Robert Morrow lineman and O.M. Zander building inspector. In other action, the commission gave first reading to an ordinance closing saloons all day Sunday and every other day during the week from midnight until 6 in the morning.

C.H. Thatcher and family have arrived in Sheridan from Denver. Mr. Thatcher is the local manager for the Sheridan Sugar company. He will establish a home here as soon as he can find a suitable house.

For the next 10 days, Sheridan Electric company will make a special sale of a $3.50 Hotpoint electric iron and a $2 Springer ironing board for just $4 for the set.
