J.U. Stout was accidentally shot through the upper part of his left arm yesterday afternoon while on his way home from Billings overland. The wound is not regarded as serious. The incident happened when a passenger in the back seat of the automobile shot at a prairie dog with an automatic pistol.

Sheridan police secured two roulette tables, two card tables, several packs of cards, chips and other gambling services in a raid Wednesday night on a room over the Antlers Saloon.

Albert West, the son of Mr. and Mrs. A.P. West of Sheridan, received a severe fracture of the right forearm and dislocation of the wrist when he fell from a tree shortly before noon today.
