Roy Hayes, a blacksmith in Clearmont, has a bullet in the lower part of his leg and is confined to the county jail as a result of a shooting scrape at the Loafman restaurant in Clearmont last night.

City Clerk T.A. Morris, County Assessor John X. Morris and their families returned last night from a two weeks’ automobile trip to Deadwood and other places in the Black Hills. They had two cars, and camping equipment, and spent several nights in the open while on the trip.
