Mr. and Mrs. Otto Stevie are parents of a son, born on June 8 at the Stevies’ home on North Main street.
The newly organized citizens drill corps will meet in the armory tomorrow night at 7 o’clock sharp. It is earnestly hoped that a good attendance will be present. The training should be of special usefulness to those young men who have registered and are liable to draft.
Total Liberty Bond subscriptions for Sheridan to date amount to just over $142,000. The amount due is $200,000, and the deadline for subscriptions is June 15.
A free lecture on high explosives will be given tomorrow night at the Pastime theater in Sheridan. The lecture starts promptly at 8 o’clock.
