Three more Sheridan men have been called into the National Army today, and two have been discharged. One has been discharged temporarily on account of physical disability, and the other because of dependent relatives.

Mr. Elmer Anderson, who has been quite ill at his home, is slightly improved.

School will recommence on Sept. 4, the day after Labor Day.

The Farmers & Consumers Co-operative Co. is selling 100 bags of sugar at $9 per hundred pounds. Eleven pounds of sugar will be sold for $1. Delivery is free.

The Basket Grocery is selling melons at 25, 40 and 60 cents each while they last.
