Tonight only, “Little Miss Optimist,” starring Vivian Martin, will be shown at Sheridan’s Orpheum theater.
Sheridan’s city council yesterday approved the issue of rooming house licenses to Mrs. Belle Garrard at 161 N. Gould Street, George T. McGee at 60 N. Main Street and Thomas Savery at 22 W. Alger Ave.
The Northwestern Realty Co. has opened for business in the Sheridan Oil Exchange Building.
The Red Cross is going to open a branch at the John Taylor School for sewing and knitting on Monday evenings from 7 to 9. It’s very much hoped that the ladies living in the neighborhood will come and bring their thimbles and scissors.
