In order to accommodate those who are unable to mail their Christmas parcels during regular hours, Postmaster Canfield has arranged to keep the post office registry window open until 9 p.m. for the sale of stamps and handling of parcels starting tomorrow. The window will be open late through Dec. 24.
George W. Scales, who went to Denver on Dec. 11 to enlist in the Aviation Corps, returned to Sheridan last night.
Mr. Massey of the Bank of Commerce is advocating that the public buy War Savings Certificate Stamps this Christmas instead of the usual custom of giving gold pieces. The stamps can be had in any denomination and will be on hand at all the banks in Sheridan.
