Elmer Hurst of Big Horn had the first number to be drawn in the Washington lottery applying to Sheridan County registrants. Hurst was 21 years old on May 1 and the son of Joe Hurst, a pioneer rancher of Big Horn.
The Christian Ladies’ Aid will give a Liberty Bond social tonight on the church lawn. Everybody is invited.
C.P. Story and F.I. Reed left today for Riverton on a business trip. They will make the journey overland.
Much interest has been manifested in Sheridan over the attractive window display appropriate to War Savings Day at the Gas building. The display was installed by Bert Fenner.
