Benjamin L. Doto became the first victim of Spanish influenza in Sheridan. He died about 8 o’clock this morning at the family home on East Seventh Street of pneumonia, which was a complication of the influenza. He had been ill for about a week.
Many Sheridan county people are being induced by the sifting committee of the local Loyalty League to double, and in many cases to multiply, their subscriptions to the Fourth Liberty Loan.
Only two more days remain for the registration of voters. Any man or woman who desires to vote in the fall election must get his or her name on the list within that time.
