Sheridan did herself proud this morning in giving one of the greatest ovations yet, according to departing soldiers, when 84 men entrained for Fort Riley, Kansas, on their first lap to Berlin.
For the first time in years, the people of Sheridan are having plenty of water both for agricultural and sprinkling purposes. It is interesting to note that, this year, there has been no sprinkling regulations issued by the city.
The Big Horn branch of the American Red Cross during the past month has produced 10 hospital shirts, 15 children’s aprons, six pairs of socks, 63 triangular bandages, six abdominal bandages, 10 children’s drawers and four sweaters.
