One more candidate had been added to the list of aspirants for the office of city commissioner. The petition of A.L. Burdick was presented to the city clerk about 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon but was unaccompanied by the necessary affidavits. Mr. Burdick secured those and returned at 4:05 o’clock.
Dr. F.A. Hodson, county health officer, has received a telegram from the state board of health advising that unvaccinated children be admitted to school until the higher courts decide on the legality of a ruling excluding unvaccinated children from school.
Miss Helen Bentley entertained a group of friends last night in honor of her 14th birthday.
