The Sheridan Elks played the Buffalo baseball team in 13 innings yesterday with one run for each team. In the 13th inning, the Elks ran in a man on a squeeze play, but he was declared out by the umpire. When the Elks protested, the umpire declared the game forfeited to Buffalo.
The Sheridan Woman’s Club devoted their recent meeting entirely to music.
Miss Muriel Franklin and Mr. Forest M. Neely, both of Gopher, Mont., were married Saturday at the Christian parsonage in Sheridan. Also married Saturday were Miss Mandell Neeves and Mr. William Masters, both of Sheridan. That marriage took place at the Methodist parsonage.
