Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Oct. 17, 1919.

Deputy Sheriff Carl Fisk returned today from Douglas, where he took into custody a man under arrest for fraud in connection with the purchase of a motorcycle.

The Golden Rule store is having a wonderful sale of beautiful autumn dresses for $29.95.

Visitors in Sheridan today include R. Nicholas of Big Horn, H.N. Clark of Parkman, Alice Sturdevant of Ucross and James A. Maxwell of Clearmont.

The Home Bakery has installed a gas doughnut baker.

Mrs. Gravenson of 549 Sumner street has installed a complete gas kitchen.
