The Red Cross has finished its war program and has now started the peace program. Sheridan county must raise $12,000 to carry on the work of the local chapter during the coming year.

J. Ira Kirby, deputy sheriff, departed for Cheyenne yesterday on official business.

James Maxwell, Jacob Olson and Fred Dykes, all of Clearmont, are in Sheridan today on business.

Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Davis entertained the 500 Club last night at their home on Big Horn Avenue.

Mr. Carl Sackett has returned from an extended visit in New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Warsaw, Ind., and other eastern points.
