The price of coal dropped in Sheridan today to $6 per ton. All consumers who purchased coal for $7 per ton from local retail dealers since Nov. 16 will receive a refund of 95 cents per ton. This is the result of the ruling of the government in the settlement of the coal strike.
Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Davis of Buffalo are in Sheridan today. Also in Sheridan today are Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Haigler of Arvada.
Owing to the General Teachers’ meeting which was held this afternoon, the Linden Avenue PTA has postponed their meeting until tomorrow. Colonel C.E. Elliott will tell of his experiences in France.
