Notwithstanding reports on the streets today that mines in the Sheridan field had shut down again, all were working except Carneyville, which had shut down for the funeral of a miner killed there by a fall of coal on Wednesday.

Nobles and novices from all over the northern half of the state are in attendance at the Shrine ceremonial in Sheridan today. The public got a glimpse of the proceedings when the novices, some attached to a heavy chain and others handcuffed, were herded down Main street at the noon hour.

The transfer of the Snodgrass ranch to Dr. J. F. Spiker for the sum of $19,200 has been announced. The ranch is situated near Absarka Park on Big Goose.
