Mr. and Mrs. William Diener will entertain members of the Catholic church tonight at their home on West Loucks street. A splendid musical program has been arranged, and cards will be played, but there will be no dancing.
The seniors of the Sheridan high school entertained the juniors last night, the feature of the entertainment being a one-act comedy titled “Nothing But the Truth.”
The city council met in the office of City Commissioner Loucks this morning in order to keep in touch with the coal situation. The council passed an ordinance vacating a portion of Crook street and Eighth street and re-establishing the streets at another location.
