F. S. Peabody, president of the Peabody Coal Company of Chicago, spent yesterday in Sheridan and left today to return home.
The Misses Vera and Dora Kooi are informally entertaining guests for the weekend at their home. The guests arrived tonight and plan to return to their homes tomorrow night.
Mrs. Alice Keenan entertained a company of eight friends tonight, complimentary to Mrs. Wood Smith, who recently arrived from Columbus, Neb. The event was held at Mrs. Keenan’s apartments in the Kennedy building.
Twenty-five members of the Sheridan American Collegiate Alumni held the first Christmas party of the season tonight at the home of Mrs. Ralph Denio.
