Notwithstanding the unavoidable irregularity of the arrival and departure of the trains, the Sheridan post office is promptly and very satisfactorily handling the big volume of mail incidental to the holiday season.

Four people were brought into police court yesterday and fined for violating the ordinance that prohibits the parking of automobiles on Main street for more than 20 minutes. The defendants will appear in court this afternoon.

Mrs. D. E. Gwinn entertained a luncheon at 1 o’clock today complimentary to Mrs. I. M. Cappler.
