The extreme range of temperatures in Sheridan during 1919 was 144 degrees, according to records furnished by H. A. Frise, observer at the local weather bureau.
District court Judge J. H. Burgess today issued an order suppressing the evidence in the case against a man charged with illegal possess of liquor. The judge gave the order on a showing made by the defendant’s attorney that the evidence was secured illegally.
D. P. B. Marshall has been asked by Governor Carey to be a representative from Sheridan county on the reception committee which will welcome General Pershing on Jan. 14.
