County Assessor John X. Morris is making plans for the annual assessment that will start the first Tuesday in February. Under instructions from the state equalization board, the assessment will be made this year at full valuation, which probably will bring the assessed valuation in the county up to at least $35 million.
The partnership between B. O. Bentley and Alex Petrie, who have been conducting a clothing store on North Main street for a number of years, has been dissolved. Mr. Petrie has sold his interest to Mr. Bentley and has retired.
Mrs. Scott of Buffalo underwent an operation at the state hospital in Sheridan today.
