The Sheridan Enterprise today, Oct. 24, published a list of needs during the Spanish influenza epidemic. These include women who will take children from influenza homes into their own homes to protect the children from getting the disease.
Also needed are more volunteers to go out into sick homes and give relief. The situation is now worse than ever, deaths continue to occur, and there is a shortage of help to care for the sick.
Necessary articles such as bedpans, temperature thermometers and blankets and comforters are needed badly. People who have these items in their homes are urged to give them to the Red Cross.
