Sheridan Commission Ratifies Agreement

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have ratified an Licensing Agreement with Montana-Dakota Utilities for installation of a gas service line on County Road 62.

According to their recent meeting agenda, the agreement is for the installation (or boring) of a 3/4-inch Polyethylene gas line for residential service on Metz Road in Sheridan County.

Inspection fees of $150 for a bored crossing plus $0.25 per foot of installation is common in the license agreement, however, service for utilities for individual residences can be exempted from charges, according to the paperwork.
