The Johnson County School Board has voted to approve skilled trade contractors for work to be performed on district property during 2022.
Requests For Proposals (RFPs) were requested for work on General Grounds, General Building, Electrical, Plumbing, Gym Floor, and HVAC systems.
The board reviewed and approved Chesbro Electric for electrical work; Crazy Woman Construction for general contractor/grounds; Powder River Heating & Air Conditioning for plumbing; and Long’s Technology for HVAC work.
No proposals for general contractor/building or gym floors were submitted and were not filled by the board.
The proposals we scored by a committee of three district employees.
The proposals were reviewed and ranked according to cost, call response time, institution experience and company considerations, according to the district website.
