Liquor License Transfer Approved By Johnson County

A liquor license transfer was discussed and acted on by the Johnson County Commission at their meeting this week.

The transfer was needed due to the sale of Winchester Steakhouse to Smokin B, LLC.

Dan and Deb Buckley, representing Smokin B, spoke to the commission to introduce themselves and talk about their plans for the restaurant.

Buckley said that although they will have their own stamp on the business, much of the old favorite menu items will be offered.

The commission voted to transfer the liquor license.
