2021 Sheridan Elks Hoop Shoot Results

The Hoop Shoot sponsored by the Sheridan Elks Lodge was held Saturday, December 18 at Sheridan Junior High School.  The winners in the three age groups were:

8-9 girls:  1st – Laney Heizer, Woodland Park, 9/25                

2nd – Kady Winterland, Big Horn,   8/25

8-9 boys:  1st – Nolan Smith, Henry A Coffeen  17/25   

2nd – Ivyn Killian, Sagebrush,    11/52

10-11 girls: 1st – Lydia Dearcorn, Highland Park,  16/25                   

2nd – Olivia Brogdon, Big Horn,       15/25

10-11 boys: 1st – Ashton Horning, Sagebrush,      11/25                    

2nd – Tate Tanachion, Cloud Peak Elem., Buffalo, 10/25

12-13 girls: 1st – Maggie Brogdon, Big Horn,     18/25                    

2nd – Mesa Hanft, Tongue River,    17/25

12-13 boys: 1st – Nathan Miner, Clear Creek Middle Sch., Buffalo, 22/25                    

2nd – Blake Araas, Sheridan Jr. Hi,     20/25

The six 1st place winners advance to the Northeast District Hoop Shoot in Casper on January 29 to compete against the winners from Casper, Gillette, and Lusk.
