Announcement Expected on New Buffalo Police Chief

Buffalo may have a new police chief.

Mayor Shane Schrader, in the announcements portion of the agenda at the last city council meeting, said a recommendation to fill the position had been made.

An announcement on and introduction of the new chief of police is expected at Tuesday’s city council meeting.

Other announcements include a Department Head meeting Tuesday, January 4 at 7am; a City/County meeting on Tuesday, January 18 at 7am; City Council meetings January 4 and 18 at 5pm; and the Planning & Zoning Board meeting January 25 at 1pm.
