The Annual Karz Rod Run and show is held in historic downtown Sheridan on Main Street. For the event, cars from throughout the decades line the streets, and typically include those from the early days of automobiles, like Model T Fords, to 50s Cruisers, 70s muscle cars and modern models. The event is billed by organizers as a gear head’s dream come true. To kick off the event, the vehicles cruise Main Street the night before the show, then fill upwards of four city blocks on show day. Awards are given out by event sponsors, so plenty of prizes are up for grabs. One is the coveted “Long Distance Award” for the vehicle that’s logged the most miles traveled to the show.
