Two Buffalo residents are concerned over a banner being flown at a home in town that contains obscene language.
Kathy and Hilton Ballinger said they would like to see the banner removed.
Kathy Ballinger addressed the Buffalo City Council at this week’s meeting.
Hilton Ballinger also spoke to the council, saying obscenity is not protected by First Amendment rights on free speech, and violations of federal obscenity laws are criminal offenses.
He also said his problem with the banner has nothing to do with the rainbow banner, but the obscenity on it.
No action was taken by the council.
