A number of appointments to county boards were approved by the Johnson County Commission at their recent meeting.
Dave Belus was reappointed to the Lake DeSMet Advisory Board as the landowner representative.
Michael Whitaker was also approved to the advisory board as the commercial representative.
No applications were submitted for the irrigator representative on the board, and the position will be re-advertised.
Letters of Interest for positions on the Kaycee/Buffalo/Johnson County Economic Development Joint Powers Board were reviewed, and John DeMatteis was approved to serve an enexpired term.
Mary Plank was also approved as the Kaycee representative on the joint powers board.
