The Buffalo High School Theater Company will present their spring play Into the Woods at the Buffalo High School Auditorium in two shows Thursday and Saturday.
Karen Blaney, director and drama advisor at BHS, was asked why this musical was chosen, to which she said the number of talented vocalists at at BHS was a major factor.
According to Wikipedia, Into the Woods is a musical whose story combines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairytales, tied together by a story involving a childless baker and his wife and their quest to begin a family, their interaction with a witch who has placed a curse on them, and their interaction with other storybook characters during their journey.
Performances will be at the Buffalo High School Auditorium Thursday and Saturday at 7 p.m. both nights.
There is no charge to attend the performances but donations will be accepted.
