County Commission Sets Deadline for Scholarships

Johnson County’s Commissioners have set the deadline of April 29 to apply for $500 scholarships to be awarded by them.

The scholarships can be used by Johnson County students at either the University of Wyoming or any of the state’s community colleges.

The scholarships are good for $500 per semester for one year, and applicants are eligible for a renewal scholarship the following year.

Applications are available on the county website or at Buffalo High School, Kaycee School, or New West High School Counseling offices.
