The 3rd Thursday Street Festival will kick off the summer season in Sheridan beginning at 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
The City of Sheridan and the Downtown Sheridan Association close off a large portion of Main Street for the festival. Vendors fill the space with homemade goods, businesses from around the city, artists and activities and even informational booths to answer questions on various 501(c)3s working within the community.
Live music will be provided by the rock band Cruising.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse Executive Director of SAGE Community Arts, member of the Downtown Sheridan Association board of directors and Committee Chair for 3rd Thursdays Jill Benson told listeners about the upcoming festival.

This year, the first 3rd Thursday will coincide with the Bighorn Trail Run. According to Benson, the run will involve 1,100 competitive and amateur runners with some digging deep to complete a 100 mile course.
