Former City Attorney Dennis Kirven attended the Buffalo City Council meeting this week, and addressed the council about the resignation of Ben Kirven as the city attorney, due to his accepting the appointment as a 4th Judicial DistrictJudge.
Dennis Kirven said Ben was obligated to stop practicing law while serving as judge, so he resigned from the position when he was sworn in as the district judge.
The city council has asked Dennis Kirven to act as the interim city attorney for the time being.
